This piece is strikingly similar to a piece we have in the textile and fashion arts collection at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. It would be fascinating to compare the construction of the two works.

Wow! Petra, thanks so much for posting the link to the dress in the IMA collection. They are VERY similar, especially the sleeves. If you ever visit Los Angeles, please get in touch with us and stop by the museum!
