Thank you so much for posting this. It is ironic that this was yur blog topic. I am doing a presentation this week in costume, which is a duster and driving ensemble, ca. 1910.

I hope the information in this post will be helpful in your presentation! Perhaps you'll share the link to The Woman and the Car with your audience. There's also a slightly earlier book (1903 I think) called The Girl and the Motor, which can also be found on Google books.
