Wonderful entry! I too am very inspired by Lolita in my design and feel that the winning piece exemplifies the essence of Lolita. When most people illustrate Lolita, it is usually a cheesy overdone image of a cute little girl. This image is a true illustration, and not just the cookie cutter Lolita one typically sees.

Beautiful rendering and light logic!

Love the strong light source, the dramatic contrast, the soft bleeding of the watercolor, and the emotion of the face. Always have loved your work from day one that I met you. I am very excited for you and can't wait to see more. Especially would love to see you make a 3-d doll from this.
