Great post, love the dress. The fabric flowers look almost like crochet. Didn't know that about his military stint either. fascinating!

Thanks! Saint Laurent's career is so interesting...he started so young, and had so much success. His time in the military is the rare(public) low point. If you haven't read it already, "The Beautiful Fall" is a fascinating account of Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld and Paris fashion in the 1970s.
