Often we forget how much research and effort is involved in a creation of a movie. People form their opinions mainly on the story the movie tells, the actors involved and special effects used. Folks rarely extended their thoughts and complete their opinions by including the view on the work of the other great artists - like costume people and stylists. And yes, these elf-like booties perfectly complement the medieval dress code of a peasant!
