Enjoyed this article regarding behind-the-scenes at the museum. It would be fascinating to get to work on a costume & textile collection for a museum. It would be a dream job for me.

I wanted to point out that is actually Kristen McMenamy on the cover of Spring/Summer 1995 Vogue. I have never forgotten that issue, the photo of the butterfly dress and the whole cover design was very pretty in person.

Oops, I was obviously typing too fast for my previous post, it's April 1995. And I typo'd my own name!

Whoops! Thanks for pointing out this error. I've updated the post. Glad you enjoyed learning more about what happens behind the scenes at our museum.

You're welcome! It would be really easy for someone to assume that Linda Fiorentino was the person on the cover. Especially since it's been quite a few years since the the fashion magazines switched to putting actresses and celebrities on the covers, rather than models, most of the time.

Behind the scenes is always interesting.
